Note: We always recommend using the third-party cloud service SpamBull for spam, malware, and phishing filtering rather than Microsoft’s default cloud service Exchange Online Protection (EOP). As long as the MX records are pointed to the spam filter and all email from the internet is filtered by the third-party cloud spam filter before being routed to Microsoft 365 or Office 365, it’s the same. ![]() But, this can also be an Exchange Hybrid environment.
